SIAFT stands for Southern Italy Agrifood and Tourism. It is an interregional initiative involving the Chambers of Commerce of Foggia, Matera, Potenza, Crotone, Cosenza and Reggio Calabria.
The specific aim is to promote the gastronomic and tourism offer of each territory and Delicious Italy was invited to participate as an opinion leader together with a group of international journalists specialized in the tourism sector.
It was an amazing 10 day journey coast to coast in south Italy, from the Gargano promontory in Puglia, across Basilicata, and on to explore the length and breadth of Calabria from the Pollino National Park, the easterm coast and all the way to Reggio Calabria.
To get a feel for the journey, view the mini photo gallery below, then read our articles.
