The Dante Alighieri Italian language school in Siena has been offering for more than 20 years a wide range of courses and programs to students of all ages right in the heart of the historical Tuscan city.
These include university study abroad programs, cultural courses, a range of culinary and cooking courses, internships and other academic programs.

Located in an antique palazzo inside the medieval walls of Siena, the school boasts 25 classrooms, reading & recreation rooms, library, panoramic terraces, a professionally equipped kitchen and dining room, as well as internet WI-FI throughout.
The Società Dante Alighieri and the Committee of Siena are recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for developing the Italian language and culture abroad.
But not just this. Dante Alighieri Siena also encourages all students to make the most of a stay in Italy with a series of optional cultural and social activities.
A selection of these include:
• guided visits to the museums of Siena
• conferences on topics such as: opera, politics, music, history, Mediterranean diet
• viewing classic Italian movies with Italian subtitles
• excursions and tours San Gimignano, Pienza, Florence, Lucca, Chianti, etc.
• wine tasting in Siena
And perhaps most exclusively of all a special program of activities during the famous Palio of Siena when students can get involved in each step of the build up to the race held every 2 July and 16 August.
