Eating Italy Food Tours are mouth-watering Food Tours in Rome which take place in the Testaccio and Trastevere neighborhoods of the Eternal City.

These zones are the historical gourmet heart of the city and still an obligatory stop for anyone interested in discovering authentic Roman cuisine.

Both are guided walking tours and in 4 hours you will enjoy fabulous food tastings (enough for a hearty lunch), lively anecdotal stories about local life, and personal insights into the culture, history and architecture of this corner of Rome.

Every tour participant also receives a Locals’ Guide to Eating in Rome filled with recommended Rome restaurants, pizzerias, bakeries and gelato shops.

But above all, meeting the local people who have been creating these foodie treasures for generations.

TOUR DATES AND TIMES

Taste of Testaccio:

Monday through Saturday 12 months a year except for 10 days in mid August.

Several tours depart daily in the morning.

Twilight Trastevere

Daily departures at 5:30 and 6:15 in the early evenings except on Sundays, National Italian Holidays and the 10 days in Mid-August

The price includes all food astings and an always entertaining and personable guide with mother-tongue English.

WHAT TO WEAR

For both tours comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.

The tours take place rain or shine, so be prepared!
