The one star Michelin Locanda Don Serafino Restaurant is just a short walk from the Locanda Don Serafino Hotel.
Both are owned and managed by the same family and are connected by small and narrow traffic free paths near the baroque center of Ibla, Ragusa’s historic centre in Sicily.
The menu by Chef Vincenzo Candiano is based on local tradition and you will be eating such delights as mackerel with tender courgette leaves and tomato “capuliatu”, carob ravioli stuffed with D.O.P. Ragusano cheese, lasagnette with plain cocoa and ricotta cheese, rabbit with bacon and Bronte pistachio.
All the dishes are seasoned and cooked with the medium fruity and delicate flavoured "Val Paradiso" extra-virgin olive oils "Nocellara" and "Biancolilla del Belice" and with the intense fruity-flavoured extra-virgin olive oil "Monti Iblei DOP".
Ask for the famous fish soup made with the same recipe for the past 50 years.
