The Restaurant Costanza e Roberto is a family run Abruzzo restaurant in the centre of the beautiful town of Scanno, province of L'Aquila.

It is situated in the Hotel Roma Scanno, an original liberty villa dating from end of the 1920's and once a large family home.

The restaurant is widely recommended and is run Costanza and Roberto Paleari whose own Osteria in Scanno of the same name featured in many of Italy's most renowned culinary guides.

The cuisine is genuine and based on typical local products and dishes from the Scanno zone and wider Abruzzo region.

The wines proposed are mainly regional and the owners are keen to promote labels from local farms offering a high quality and an interesting choice.

The period dining room can seat up to 70 people and can be a solution for any type of ceremony or occasion from a romantic evening in two to a friends reunion or an anniversary to remember.

Diners can choose from 3 dishes for every course and anyone with special dietary needs or allergies (glutin, lactose, celiacs etc) can arrange in advance suitable dishes.

With advance reservation the restaurant can also propose dinners in the format 'Table d'hôte' with a tailor made menu.

EVENTS

The restaurant holds many special evenings and associated events throughout the year, from olive oil tasting to meals for annual occasions such as Valentine's Day and Easter. Many are in the form of packages which include hospitality in the Hotel Roma Scanno also owned by the same family.
