You can't not come to Italy and not have a pizza, of course! But pizzas are not the same everywhere, as the folks in Naples will no doubt tell you.
Putting both together, Delicious Italy has teamed up with the O'Pazzariello Neapolitan Pizzeria Restaurant to offer two special menus for groups which can be reserved exclusively with us.
The restaurant is located right opposite Castel Sant'Angelo in central Rome just over the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge in Via del Banco di Santo Spirito. A great location for the Vatican City and also drop and parking for pullmans or coaches.
One is a simple pizza menu with antipasti and dolci, while the other is for a full restaurant menu, even featuring steak and fish if you prefer.
If you are a smaller group then you will be quoted accordingly and the whole restaurant can also be reserved just for your group.

Locanda Don Ferrante is the fine restaurant of the Dimore di Charme Don Ferrante, both located in the old historical center of Monopoli, Puglia.
In fact, the restaurant is situated in the barrel vaulted ancient gun powder store within the bastions of the original sixteenth century town defences.
Accessible from street level, and also open to non staying guests of the Don Ferrante, the restaurant serves typical dishes of the traditional cuisine of the region reworked by the chef, along with a large choice of wines, both Italian and international.
It really is an atmospheric spot to enjoy a meal as you look out onto the Mediterranean sea and the coast as they head off into the distance.
During the summer months, the restaurant diners can reserve their places on the Terrazza Don Ferrante which is directly above both the restaurant and main structure of the hotel.
It offers an uninterrupted view above the ancient town walls (pictured in the image at the top of this page).

On the Trail of Literary Giants in Turin
Turin is one of the great walking cities of Europe, but dont take our word for it. Others more mighty than us have explored the city and left their mark. Not least some of the greatest writers of the last 200 years. Perhaps it is not by chance that one of Italy's greatest publishing houses, Einaudi, was established here in 1933.
A Literary Tour of Turin is a booklet we picked up last time we went. Among those who feature include Primo Levi, Italo Calvino, Cesare Pavese, Mario Soldati, but also non Italians such as Henry James, Gustave Flaubert, Tolstoi and even Erasmus of Rotterdam, remember him?
But a little more about three lesser known pen pushers:
News from The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, Milan
EXHIBIT Museum Guards, Photographs by Davide Pizzigoni
extended until Sunday, February 26, 2012
The exhibit Museum Guards. Photographs by Davide Pizzigoni at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum has been extended until the 26th of February, so until then it will still be possible to admire the photographs selected from the work dedicated to museum guards by the artist Davide Pizzigoni.
The sumptuous domestic ambiance of the Bagatti Valsecchi mansion, which also figures in some of the photographs, provides an evocative background for the images of museums as they are lived during the extended habit of the everyday. This "house of mirrors" rapport between the museum's spaces and the photographs displayed therein, this surprising and evocative dialogue between the real and the photographed spaces, is underscored by the presence of some life-sized images.
The displayed images are the fruit of a photographic campaign begun by the artist in 2008, and undertaken in numerous museums in France, England, Russia, Brazil and Italy. This highly original research looks at the mysterious and always fascinating dialogue between places, things and people. The catalogue of the exhibit, published by Allemandi, is enriched by a preface by Pierre Rosenberg and by a text by Marco Vallora.
